About SJA

 

     St. Joan of Arc School has a rich tradition of over 60 years of excellence in faith-formation, academics and activities. Among the indicators of SJA quality is our accreditation by the Michigan Nonpublic School Accrediting Agency since 1992. This honor certifies that St. Joan of Arc School meets or exceeds the 14 standards of excellence in staffing, curriculum, services and program effectiveness in meeting the needs of young people. Additionally, SJA School was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the United States Department of Education in 1994.

     St. Joan of Arc School is rich in the tradition of the Catholic Faith, with ambitious programs in prayer, Catholic teaching and Christian service outreach. At the same time, extensive technology supports our program. All classrooms have computers for curricular use, and all students, K-8, learn the varied applications of technology in classes in the computer lab.
